TESTIMONIALS
“Craig replaced a canopy porch with an enclosed porch. The new porch fits the house so well that I had several of my neighbours knocking on the door requesting his name and number. All visitors have been extremely impressed with the high standard of his work. He took the time and research to match the brick and roof tiles and he painstakingly matched the window level of the porch with the downstairs windows. He even made bolts so that the letterbox could be fitted in the wall of the porch, rather than the door, as I wished. During the build, I was kept up to date with progress and the timetable for each section. He was infinitely patient at explaining all stages of the build. The driveway was in the same condition before and after the build despite concrete mixing, carpentry and other works occurring on it. I highly recommend Craig for any building, landscaping or decorating services you may need.” – Freda Burt, 2024
“Craig has worked on a number of projects for us as we’ve renovated our Victoria house. His work ethic is fantastic and the original brick wall he restored and extended in our garden is always complimented. We’ve always been very pleased with the work that Craig has done for us.” – Sarah Crisp, 2024
We can recommend Craig and his team 100%. They built our single storey extension and we’re chuffed to bits with it. It had a lot of detail in a very small space, and a lot of steel work that CDC handled no problem. I was quite involved in the design of the extension, and Craig put up with my constant questions and interference admirably! He’s clearly very knowledgeable and just got on with solving problems as and when they came up, and dealing with the demands of the Building Control inspectors. We’d recommend them to anyone.” – Quentin, 2023
“Craig Cookson has completed a fantastic two storey extension for us and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the result.
The structure looks like it was always part of the existing building and has integrated perfectly due to Craigs attention to detail such as testing mortar combinations to ensure a perfect match.
Our thoughts are echoed by our neighbours who are always telling us how fantastic it looks and that it matches perfectly. We have also had comments that people were impressed how tidy he has been after completing work each day.
The work indoors has been completed to such a high standard and we couldn’t be happier with our new space.
Craig is a pleasure to have around and feels like part of the family. We have used his services over the years for small jobs and large and will continue to do so in the future. Thanks Craig.” – Elliott Godwin, 2017 / 2023

“My wife and I have used Craig/CDC for two house extensions over the last 6 years. On each occasion the work was completed to a very high standard. Each project had small design complications and Craig dealt with these promptly and efficiently. We would recommend Craig without hesitation.” – Ian Barrow, 2018 / 2022
